GREEN OVER BLACK

Fire is the origin and the end. This land was devastated by a big fire where a group of firemen died. This work is a memorial for the people and the landscape that was consumed by the flames. Its own geometry talks about the origin and the cycles of life, the spiral. Inside this nest made of burnt tree logs, a new tree was born to close the cycle of life. This tree was born from the old seeds and will grow nurtured by their ashes and rotten wood. Life wins again.
